Methodology
Median and quartiles
A brand's share is the share of answers that cite it, on the shopping queries of its sector. The barometer publishes the median of these shares and the p25 and p75 quartiles: half of the sector's brands sit between the two.
Publication thresholds
A sector is published from 5 brands across 3 distinct workspaces and 100 analysed answers for Skoup measurements, from 20 audits for free audits. Below that, nothing is shown.
Two sources, never mixed
Skoup measurements: the weekly cycles of customers, on every assistant. Free audits: 3 shopping questions asked to ChatGPT only (1 for an audit run by the Skoup team). Each sector says which one it uses.
No identifiable brand
The data is aggregated and anonymous: no brand, no product, no query is published.
Weekly update
Every Monday, after the measurement cycle. The trend covers the last 12 weeks.
